Scarlet Evenings
43cm x 43cm | Acrylic on canvas, shadow box framed in Ash
From the artist:
A striking scarlet red sunset over Stanthorpe’s Quart Pot Creek, or as the locals call this spot ‘The Weir’. I spent my childhood growing up alongside this creek and have so many fond memories of summers spent swimming in this exact spot. Dramatic clouds stretch across the sky, reflected beautifully in the still weir below. Tall gums stand silhouetted against the vibrant sky with lush green grass dotted with wildflowers.
